LOMAGNE TRAIL
PR3 - 13 Km
Car park and start: church square.
From the church, take the little road down to the South, in front of the Pyrenees, toward the place called «Frayssé». Cross the bridge of the Sarrampion stream and go to the right to Solomiac. Very beautiful dovecote in « Naubie » and dovecote in a circular shape down the village of Maubec.
Before getting to Solomiac you must cross the Gimone river. Turn left to get to a metallic footbridge and cross again the Gimone river.
Follow the signs the long of the river until you get to the road. Then turn right and go towards «Plagnots», then go through the valley for 1 Km. At the crossroads after «Gleysa», turn left and observe another dovecote.
At the place called «Clarettes» you can see on your left a stunning scenery over the Lomagne valleys.
Go through Sarrant and leave the village passing through the keep. Cross the Sarrampion stream, then turn left towards Maubec. Follow this road for a hundred metres, then leave the asphalt behind to go straight on and take the footpath leading to «Terrascle».
Follow the footpath the long of the Sarrampion for 2 Km until you cross it using a concrete footbridge. Then take the path surrounded by trees.
Go past the gîte of En Naoua (Gîte de France), turn right to take the main road and at the crossroads (300 m) turn right again to get to Maubec. Go past the "Frayssé" bridge, take the little road going up until you get to the village.
